The Best Broadway Shows to See This Fall in New York City

It’s been over a year since Broadway closed due to the pandemic, but fret not, theatergoers! Broadway will be reopening in New York next month. Not only is Broadway reopening, but they are making their comeback with some of the biggest musical hits ever, so you're sure to make unforgettable memories.

Did you know we can book your entire trip for you including your show tickets? Schedule your complimentary call with us and let's start planning your trip to be a part of the reopening of Broadway! Check out our list of must-see shows each month for the fall season and book while you can.

September

September kicks off with some of the most famous musicals to ever hit the stage. Starting on September 14th, you can purchase tickets for Hamilton, Wicked, The Lion King, and Chicago. These are some of the best-known and longest-running shows ever, so you won’t want to miss out on seeing them during the reopening. And if those aren’t enough for you, later in the month you have lesser-known hits such as American Utopia, Come From Away, Moulin Rouge, and Aladdin.

October

This month debuts the classics, starting off with the famous musical adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. Following this is the release of Freestyle Love Supreme, a musical from the beloved mind of Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of Hamilton. October also sees the debut of musicals such as Is This A Room, Six, Tina, Girl From the North Country, and Ain’t Too Proud. To close out the month, we see the return of Broadway’s all-time longest-running show in history, Phantom of the Opera, on October 22nd.

November

November takes a quieter turn with only a few new additions to the roster, but don’t worry, you can still book tickets for any of the previous month’s shows throughout this month! In early November we get a taste of comedy through The Book of Mormon, a nine-time award-winning musical from the creators of South Park and a must-see show. Later this month we see openings for shows such as Diana, a show dedicated to the legacy of Princess Diana, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a musical continuation of the famous series by J.K Rowling.

December

Finally, we close 2021 with several lesser-known classics. Dear Evan Hanson, a Tony-winning show about an anxious high schooler, marks December 11th as its re-opening day. December also holds opening premieres for Company, Flying Over Sunset, and Mrs. Doubtfire, a new musical based on the original movie. Every show mentioned in this article has tickets available now, so pick your favorite and book today!
